The full bed is well known as the standard size bed. Full/double beds share the same length as a twin/single, but are 15” wider.
Our full size mattress, or double size mattress, is 54” by 74”. Our stores in Cleveland and Canton also carry full extra long mattresses, which extend the length by 6”, totalling of 80” in length.
The full mattress is used most frequently in children’s bedrooms, young adult bedrooms, couples bedrooms, rooms with limited space, and spare bedrooms. Full size mattresses are also used for some larger bunk beds, and futons.
